Despite the rain, a lot of people stayed for the gathering until the weather changed.  And it really changed from heavy rain to sunny in a few hours.  Though all our shoes were REALLY muddy afterwards.

I do like to try and do "sun in the background" shots.  But it does help to have some flash.  ^^;
