We'd decided to the the shoot outdoors but under one of the white tents that had set up. That way I'd have a plain background and we'd be not in direct sunlight. It still got hot for the both of us (though she's the one who was cooking faster), but we managed to get a lot of shots out of this shoot). Also had to thank her friends for suggesting some of the later poses, since my brain was obviously not impervious to the surrounding heat.
